We took a killer hike into Big Basin after the 1998 El Niņo winter storms. The trail was blocked many places and we had to take several detours over big, big trees felled by the storms.We ignored the "Warning: Strenuous Hike" sign and found ourselves back at the cars 11.5 miles later, just dead on our feet. Boy, the waterfalls are something to see...
